Caring for cotton tees so they last
Cold wash, no dryer, and a few tricks that keep a plain cotton tee looking new for years instead of months.
A good cotton tee should last years. Most die early because of heat, not wear.
Wash cold, inside out
Cold water keeps dye in the fabric and prevents shrinkage. Turning the tee inside out protects the printed or dyed face from friction.
Skip the dryer
Tumble drying is where most shrinkage happens. Hang tees on a line or a rack, away from direct afternoon sun which fades colours.
Sizing
Our own-label tees are cut true to size and pre-shrunk. If you are between sizes, go up — a slightly relaxed fit ages better than a tight one.
